Housing is an issue of social cohesion for Europe, stated Finance Minister and president of the Eurogroup, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, at the informal Eurogroup meeting in Nicosia on Friday.
Following a Greek initiative, the housing crisis will be a key topic of discussion at the meeting.
Pierrakakis added that housing is “also an economic issue, and we must at least coordinate our policies with one another. We must at least learn from each other what worked and what did not work.”
At the same time, Pierrakakis stated that the security and stability of Cyprus is a matter for all of Europe.
