The Enugu State Police Command has announced the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers during separate intelligence-led operations in the state.
The command disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, adding that quantities of substances suspected to be cannabis and other illicit drugs were recovered during the operations.
According to the statement, the arrests were carried out in Nkanu East Local Government Area by police operatives as part of the command’s intensified crackdown on criminal activities and illicit drug networks operating within the state.
