Centre Ethan Adams scored three tries in the first two matches of the Sanzaar U20 Rugby Championship for the Junior Springboks.
Junior Springbok coach Kevin Foote has praised his side’s maturity, squad depth, and willingness to stay on task after South Africa opened the U20 International Series with an overwhelming defeat of Chile at Rondebosch Boys’ High School in Cape Town on Thursday.
While the 97-0 scoreline underlined the Junior Boks’ attacking class, Foote said he was especially pleased with how the team stuck to its plan and handled the occasion with composure.
“I am happy with the result, but for me it was more about the maturity of the group,” said Foote.
“In a game like that, your plan can perhaps get a little loose, but I thought the players managed it well.
