The Awori-speaking people in Lagos and Ogun states, under the auspices of Awori Nation 4 Tinubu, have declared support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group also endorsed the governorship aspirations of the All Progressives Congress candidates in the two states, Obafemi Hamzat (Lagos) and Solomon Adeola (Ogun).
The endorsement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the National Publicity Secretary of the Awori Welfare Association of Nigeria, Adeniyi Jafojo.
According to the statement, the decision was conveyed on Tuesday by the Convener of AN4T, Alhaji Semiu Yusuf.
