Leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, alongside socio-political groups, have declared their support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, while expressing confidence in the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Abiodun Faleke.
The endorsement was contained in a joint statement issued on Thursday and signed by Enemona John, on behalf of the Kogi State Advocacy Group for Peace and Development, and Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed for the Kogi APC Stakeholders Forum.
The groups described Faleke as a “peace-loving” and “purposeful” leader whose contributions have benefited both Kogi State and the country.
According to the statement, Faleke has remained committed to the development of Kogi despite representing a Lagos constituency in the House of Representatives.
“Hon. James Faleke is one of the most organised, purposeful and stable political figures in Nigeria today. He is effectively the ‘eyes and ears’ of the President in terms of grassroots developmental monitoring. His loyalty to the progressive cause is unmatched”, Enemona said.
