Sani, with Force Number 526000, had submitted a resignation letter dated May 18, 2026, addressed to the Inspector-General of Police through the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command.
A corporal attached to the Nigeria Police Force’s 84 Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Ilaro, Ogun State, CPL Aminu Sani, has been transferred to Kano State after authorities rejected his resignation from the Force over family-related challenges.
Sani, with Force Number 526000, had submitted a resignation letter dated May 18, 2026, addressed to the Inspector-General of Police through the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command.
In the letter, the officer said he could no longer continue in service due to pressing family circumstances following the death of his father shortly after his wedding and the deteriorating health condition of his mother.
The letter partly read “I hereby tender my resignation letter from the Nigeria Police Force with effect from 30th June 2026. I am currently serving as corporal with Force Number 526000 attached to No. 84 PMF Ilaro.
