Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa’s role as senator will be limited, especially in Senate sessions where he will not be able to participate if not physically present.

Drilon made the pronouncement when asked about what dela Rosa’s role in the Senate will be as he remains in hiding from the arrest warrant issued against him by the ICC — and should he eventually be arrested.

According to Drilon, dela Rosa despite being a sitting senator will not even be able to cast his vote during Senate sessions.
