Authorities in Mpumalanga are investigating a fatal collision between a bus and a minibus taxi that left nine people dead on the R39 on Thursday morning.
Ten people died in a crash involving a minibus taxi and a bus on the R39 between Standerton and Morgenzon in Mpumalanga on Thursday morning.
The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison confirmed the deaths.
“Ten people were killed in a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a bus on the R39 between Standerton and Morgenzon,” departmental spokesperson Moeti Mmusi said.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
