This week, the Justice Department laid out the details of its newly announced “Anti-Weaponization Fund,” a sizable pot of taxpayer dollars set aside as a result of President Donald Trump’s settled lawsuit against the IRS that will go toward redressing claims by alleged victims of “weaponization and lawfare.” The $1.776 billion fund quickly sparked allegations of corruption and questions regarding its legality.
