Ojiewa, aged 57 at the time of his death, was allegedly killed on his farm in February 2026.
The High Court in Ubiaja, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, has adjourned the case concerning the killing of a farmer, Saturday Ojiewa in Uhomebho Community until June 1, 2026.
It would be recalled that there had been allegations by residents and relatives of the late Ojiewa that attempts were being made to secure the release of a man accused of sponsoring the brutal killing of the farmer.
Ojiewa, aged 57 at the time of his death, was allegedly killed on his farm in February 2026.
Associates told SaharaReporters that during a sitting held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the court adjourned the case until June 1. They lamented the continual adjournment of the matter.
