The Court of Appeal sitting at Igbosere, Lagos, has adjourned till October 28 the suit filed by Mr Saheed Owolabi Momson Aduloju challenging an earlier appellate court judgment which removed him as the Abowa of Agbowa-Ikosi in the Ejinrin-Ikosi Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

The adjournment was granted by a three-man panel of the court led by Justice Boloukuromo Moses Ugo after hearing submissions from counsel to the Mabudeje Royal Family, Femi Falana.

Ugo stated that the adjournment became necessary “to enable parties to proceed directly to the substantive matter and to avoid unnecessary delays in the hearing of the case.”

Other members of the panel were Justices Samuel Ademola Bola and Polycarp Terna Kwahar.
