MADINAH: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has launched a video call service at Al-Qiblatain Mosque and Sayyid Al-Shuhada Mosque in Madinah to answer inquiries from pilgrims and worshippers.
The initiative is part of the ministry’s Hajj operational plan and aims to enhance religious guidance and outreach services.
Introduced at high-traffic locations, it uses smart devices to provide direct audio and video communication with scholars and translators in more than 30 languages.
Pilgrims can receive reliable answers to questions on acts of worship, Hajj rituals, and other religious matters in their native languages.
Meanwhile, the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has also enhanced the efforts of the center for awareness of the rulings and etiquette.
