The late King Zwelithini's daughter, Princess Nandi Zulu, will run the 42km Sanlam Cape Town Marathon for charity.
King Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu’s daughter, Princess Nandi Zulu, will run the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon to raise funds for children's organisations, such as Bobbie Bear.
The 42km marathon will take place on Sunday. Speaking on Wednesday about her decision, Princess Nandi said her decision was driven by her passion for children and that she felt she could take part in a marathon to contribute to their safety.
“For many years, I have been committed to initiatives that protect, uplift, and empower our communities, especially our children. That is why joining Team Keep Children Alive Foundation (KCA) is deeply meaningful to me. As I run with Team KCA, every step I take will directly support this vital work — helping create stronger, safer, and healthier futures for children,” said Zulu.
She lauded the foundation, saying its mission goes beyond survival. She stated that the foundation’s mission is not only about survival, but also about ensuring that children have access to health, education, and safety.
