Ukraine is continuing to reinforce its defensive capabilities along the border with Belarus, citing potential security risks from the neighboring country.
Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, said this at a briefing on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
"This sector receives significant attention, given Belarus' support for the terrorist state Russia, which has launched a war against us. Therefore, we continue to strengthen our defensive capabilities directly along the border, engineering every piece of our land. Such work is being carried out along the entire length of the border with Belarus – more than 1,000 kilometers from the Volyn region to the Chernihiv region," Demchenko said.
