YonhapPrime Minister Kim Min-seok met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Wednesday and discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries, Kim's office said.Kim said he looks forward to expanding exchanges and cooperation with Albania, noting the Balkan nation has appointed what is known as the world's first "artificial intelligence (AI) minister" and Korea also puts an emphasis on AI and high-end technologies.Rama said Korea is a source of inspiration for Albania in terms of national development and the two countries have many similarities in that they have overcome difficulties, and achieved economic development and democracy, even though they are far apart geographically.He also said Albania is interested in strengthening cooperation in trade, investment and AI areas.The meeting took place as Rama visited Seoul to attend an international conference.
