The Valentína spring in the Liptov region has reopened after nearly a year offline.

After months offline, a popular mineral spring at the entrance to the spa village of Lúčky in northern Slovakia is flowing again – and visitors can use it free of charge.

The Valentína spring, located outside the entrance to the local spa complex near Ružomberok, has reopened following technical repairs after nearly a year out of service, according to public broadcaster STVR. Open to the public, it offers visitors a chance to sample naturally mineral-rich thermal water long associated with Slovakia’s spa culture.

The same water is also used in the spa’s indoor therapeutic pool.
