The historic railway line that once connected key locations in western Slovakia will return to service this summer. The Retro Train Radošinka will run between the town of Nitra and the village of Radošina once a month.

“Some tracks never lose their story,” reads the attraction’s official website. “They are simply waiting for the moment when life returns to them.”

The revival of the railway line to Radošina is expected to boost tourism and support the local economy, Zuzana Vilčeková, a spokesperson for the Nitra Region, told the regional newspaper MY Nitra.
