Rajamahendravaram City MLA Adireddi Srinivas on Tuesday announced that sterilisation of over 12,000 street dogs has been completed. Additionally, they have also been administered with anti-rabies vaccination. By the end of 2024, as many as 25,865 street dogs were identified for sterilisation in the city. Speaking to newsmen after inspecting the ongoing sterilisation drive, Mr. Srinivas said: “At least 10,000 anti-rabies doses have been readied for the vaccination drive.” Those suffering from street dogs can dial 70939 21991 for assistance and rescue operation.
