The UK government’s Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) said it has saved millions of pounds annually by replacing a Palantir system with one build in-house.
Coco Chan, a senior digital leader of the Homes for Ukraine project that was originally set up using a system based on Palantir’s Foundry platform, said in a blog post that the system had been replaced by one built by its own staff.
“Longer term, we wanted to replace the platform with a more flexible technology solution, enabling [MHCLG] to save significant support costs, control the system data and code,” she wrote.
