The incumbent senator, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has emerged winner in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary.

According to the official results announced by the APC National Assembly Primary Committee, Senator Dafinone polled an overwhelming 116,252 votes to defeat Omo-Agege, who secured 3,643 votes.
