The All Progressives Congress has concluded its primary elections for the Delta State House of Assembly, producing candidates across all 29 state constituencies ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The exercise, held across the state on Wednesday, was described by party officials as peaceful, credible and transparent.
Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, emerged as the APC candidate for Warri South-West Constituency, while Deputy Speaker, Arthur Akpowowo, clinched the ticket for Ethiope East Constituency.
In Isoko North Constituency, Orobosa Ashakah secured the party’s ticket, while Lucky Idhoveh emerged as the candidate for Isoko South Constituency I. Incumbent lawmaker Ferguson Onwo secured the ticket for Isoko South Constituency II.
