The All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Badiko and Kurunmasi Ward of Kaduna South Local Government Area was successfully conducted at the weekend, with Senator Shehu Sani emerging victorious over Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani.

Speaking after the exercise, the ward councillor confirmed that the election was held peacefully, with a large turnout of party members and voters who queued to cast their ballots without incident.

He said the process was orderly from start to finish, noting that security and party officials ensured a smooth conduct of the primary.

According to him, “As the councillor of this ward, today we conducted the APC primary election between Sen. Shehu Sani and Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani. As expected, people came out in large numbers, they queued up, the election was conducted peacefully, and it ended peacefully as well.”
