Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Timi Frank, has called for the release of businessman Tunde Ayeni and urged authorities to ensure the safety and rights of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
In a statement issued on his Facebook page on Sunday, Frank expressed concern over the detention of El-Rufai and Ayeni, urging security agencies and judicial authorities to uphold fairness and due process.
“I received information suggesting concerns about the safety and treatment of Nasir El-Rufai while in detention, and I believe the authorities must ensure his protection and guarantee that justice is carried out transparently,” Frank said.
He called on security agencies and relevant institutions to ensure that no harm comes to the former governor.
