Amaechi also stated that El-Rufai should be allowed to return home and receive medical treatment in the hospital. He said the government should allow him access to his lawyers and permit him to attend court sessions from home.

In Amaechi’s words: “The fear I have is that El-Rufai was ill, he went to the hospital. I hope he does not die in detention. That would spark what the government cannot manage. The earlier they leave him to go home and go to the hospital the better for everybody.”adsads
