MANILA, Philippines — More than one million qualified Department of Education (DepEd) personnel nationwide began receiving their mid-year bonus on Thursday, May 15, in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to support educators and school staff ahead of the opening of School Year 2026–2027.
In a statement, DepEd said the release covers around 900,000 public school teachers and over 100,000 non-teaching personnel across the country.
