A 24-year-old woman died after falling from a seventh-floor balcony of an apartment building in Piraeus on Friday afternoon, according to police, who said the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.

Initial reports indicate the woman was transported unconscious to Piraeus’ Tzaneio Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the case.
