MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)’s Organized and Transnational Crimes Division (OTCD) released video footage of the shooting incident at the Senate involving its agents and the Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) last Wednesday night, May 13.

In the video obtained by the INQUIRER on Friday, an NBI agent was heard saying that Acting Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca issued the warning shot.

“Six of them appeared, and we were all startled. ‘Put the gun down,’ I said. ‘No,’ he replied. I backed away,” the NBI agent said in Filipino in the video.

“Aplasca fired, I fired back. The six entered, and then the gunfire began,” he added.FEATURED STORIES
