The Judiciary of the Islamic Republic announced today the confiscation of citizens’ properties across several cities and provinces.

According to the Prosecutor of Mashhad, the assets of a former member of the Mashhad City Council have been seized. The prosecutor stated that the former official “is currently residing abroad and is active against the regime.” While the published report did not explicitly name the individual, speculation suggests the person is Batool Gandomi.

At the same time, Mizan, the official news agency of the Judiciary, reported that the assets of 47 individuals in Hamadan Province have been confiscated. The report described these individuals as “influential members of the enemy’s network of collaborators.” While Mizan did not disclose their names, it provided a breakdown of their current locations:

“Currently, 6 of these individuals reside in the UK, 2 in Switzerland, 1 in Russia, 8 in Germany, 6 in Turkey, 8 in Iraq, 4 in the USA, 1 in Italy, 1 in Oman, 1 in Canada, 1 in Saudi Arabia, 1 in Armenia, 2 in Ghana, and 6 are inside the country. The necessary orders for the seizure of their properties have been issued.”

Since February 28, coinciding with the start of the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran, the judicial and security apparatuses of the Islamic Republic have begun confiscating the assets of citizens accused of “collaborating with the enemy.”
