Vitaliy Sayenko,

The head of state is awaiting the implementation of new solutions for more effective interception of Shahed strike drones.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that Ukraine's air defense forces have recently demonstrated unsatisfactory performance in shooting down enemy aircraft.

As the head of state reported, he held a daily conference call during which reports were heard on the situation in Kyiv and the surrounding region, in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions, in Kropyvnytskyi and the surrounding region, as well as in the Vinnytsia region, the Dnipropetrovsk region, in Zaporizhzhia, in communities on the border with Russia and near the front line.

"I consider the work of the Air Force in some regions of Ukraine to be unsatisfactory, and I discussed with the commander of the Air Force and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine what decisions should be implemented immediately to more effectively shoot down the 'Shaheds'," Zelenskyy emphasized.
