President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he had discussed with the heads of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine the consequences of the Russian airstrike, the situation on the front lines and regarding the maritime corridor, and had updated the list of top priorities for precision strikes.
The head of state announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“A briefing by Mykhailo Drapaty, Ihor Skybyuk, Yevhen Khmara, and Pavlo Palisa. We discussed in detail the current challenges posed by Russia’s ballistic missile strike tactics and our ability to counter these tactics at both the military and diplomatic levels. We identified solutions and technical measures, as well as asymmetric measures that can provide Ukraine with greater protection,” Zelensky said.
He noted that there was also a briefing on the situation at the front, particularly in the areas of Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka. There was also a briefing on the situation with the maritime export corridor—what has already been done in this regard and what action plan will still be implemented.
The President also emphasized that the operation involving medium-range strikes against Russian forces and positions in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, particularly in Crimea, is ongoing.
