A total of 320 students who have passed Nursing and Allied Health Science courses at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) will be awarded their degree at the convocation ceremony on Thursday.

In a release, Jipmer said 320 students would be awarded degrees and 24 of them would be given medals for academic excellence. Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Punya Salila Srivastava would be the chief guest at the convocation ceremony. Puducherry Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan and Jipmer Director Vir Singh Negi will participate.
