May 4 (UPI) -- A Virginia man played an online lottery game on his wife's birthday and ended up winning her a $986,399 present.
The Fairfax County man told Virginia Lottery officials he was playing online game The Lamp: Dark Arts on his wife's birthday and scored a $986,399 jackpot.
He said he took a walk with his wife later in the day to give her the news.
"It's the best birthday present I ever got for my wife," he said. "It's truly life changing."
The man said it took some work to convince her the prize was real.
