A 68-year-old was severely injured after a stray cow attacked him in Triplicane on Friday. The city police said S. Fasalur Rahman, of Fakir Sahib Street in Jambazaar, was returning home from a mosque when the cow attacked him. He suffered injuries in the attack. Residents rushed him to the Government Royapettah Hospital, where he received 13 stitches in the abdomen. The Triplicane police have registered a case against the cattle owner and are searching for him.
