A 65-year-old person was killed after being knocked down by a stray bull in Nolambur on Monday.
A senior official of the city police said T. Balaraman was a resident of Venugopal Street in Mogappair West, and had come to visit his mother residing in Union Road of Chinna Nolambur. On Monday he was walking on the street when a stray bull roaming on the road attacked him from behind. He sustained body injuries from the horn. The residents rescued him and took him to a private hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.
The Nolambur police sent the body to Government Kilpauk medical college hospital and have filed a case against the bull owner, Madhan of Maduravoyal.
