A new dialysis facility will be inaugurated at Kilpauk on May 3, expanding access to affordable renal care. The centre, set up by the Rotary Club of Chennai Suncity, in collaboration with Right Hospitals, will offer advanced dialysis services with a focus on safety and hygiene. The inauguration will be led by R.S. Munirathinam, and attended by Rotary district officials.
Organisers said the facility is designed to address the growing demand for quality dialysis care, particularly among underserved patients.
A press note said dialysis sessions will be provided under the State’s Chief Minister’s Health Scheme for eligible patients, while others can access treatment at subsidised rates. The centre will use disposable dialysers for each session. The initiative is expected to ease pressure on existing facilities and improve access to essential kidney care.
