A training session on counting procedures for officials engaged in vote counting for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election was held in Chennai on Thursday at Valluvar Kottam.
According to a press release, the training covered counting procedures for returning officers, micro observers, assistant returning officers, supervisors and assistants. Electronic voting machines have been stored under three-tier security at Queen Mary’s College, Loyola College and Anna University, and are under continuous surveillance.
