Sukhadeva from Raichur district has become one among the SSLC exam-1 toppers by securing 625 marks out of 625, according to the results that were announced on Thursday (April 23, 2026).
Sukhadeva is a student of BVR English Medium School in Manvi town in Raichur district. His father, Parashuram, is lecturer in Government Degree College in Manvi, and his mother, Chandrakala, is working as a government school teacher in Potanal village.

Expressing happiness on becoming a State topper, Sukhadeva told The Hindu that he only studied four to five hours a day. Though he initially took tuitions for a month, he later began studying at home by himself.
Sukhadeva has been a top-scoring student who secured above 90% in Classes VIII and IX, continuing that success streak even in Class 10.
