Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed the officials of the Industries department to complete acquisition of land proposed for industrial development at the earliest so that lands can be allotted to firms which entered into memorandum of understanding with the State government for setting up their units.

Officials should take steps to classify the industries that signed the MoUs into three categories and firms with global reputation should be given first priority in land allotment. A planned approach should be adopted in the development of facilities/amenities for industries keeping their future needs in view.

The Chief Minister gave the instructions during a meeting with officials to review the status of the MoUs signed during his visit to Davos and the Telangana Rising global summit held here. Officials briefed the Chief Minister about the investments assured in different sectors, works grounded so far and the assurances pending implementation. They informed the Chief Minister about the proposals of land allotment in different places, including the Future City to different firms.

Mr. Revanth Reddy suggested that officials prepare plans for supply of water treated by the STPs for utilisation by the data centres. Steps should be taken to create necessary facilities so that firms that signed MoUs with the government started their operations as soon as possible.
