The Andhra Pradesh government has accepted the resignation of Seeta Sharma as Advisor for International Skilling and Mobility, with effect from March 7, 2026.
The orders were issued on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) by Kona Sasidhar, Secretary to Government (FAC), through G.O. Rt. No. 18 of the Skills Development and Training Department.
According to the order, Ms. Sharma submitted her resignation on March 5, 2026, citing operational and structural constraints that limited her ability to meet the goals of the role. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) forwarded the resignation to the government.

Ms. Sharma was appointed to the post in January 2025 for two years, with a mandate to build international partnerships, support capacity building and policy work, and expand overseas employment for skilled professionals from Andhra Pradesh. She took charge on March 7, 2025, at the APSSDC headquarters in Tadepalli.
