President Donald Trump on Friday continued distancing himself from some of his biggest past supporters who continue to rebuke him over the Iran war and his attacks against the pope, including former Fox News host Tucker Carlson — calling him “a Low IQ person.”

The MAGA leader was reacting to a CNN segment from last week on the results of a recent poll from the University of Massachusetts’ Lowell Center of Public Opinion, which found 77% of Republicans have a favorable view of Trump — while only 31% have one of Carlson.

“It’s easy!” Trump wrote Friday shortly after 8 a.m. on his Truth Social platform. “Tucker is a Low IQ person - Always easy to beat, and highly overrated!!! So are Megyn Kelly, ‘Candace’ (Really Dumb and mentally ill!), and Bankrupt Alex Jones, who is completely ‘fried.’”

The president continued, “There are others, also! Then we have some that are VERY GOOD, true MAGA all the way, and smart. I should do a list of good, bad, and somewhere in the middle. Wouldn’t that be fascinating???”

The subjects of his screed have all criticized Trump and his administration to varying degrees in recent weeks, largely over the Iran war and his genocidal rhetoric surrounding it, and Trump’s criticism of Pope Leo XIV amid the pontiff’s calls for peace in the conflict.
