Policymakers, industry leaders, and experts on Friday (April 10, 2026) focused on promoting innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and collaborative efforts to strengthen the agriculture sector through the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) 2026.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was among those who addressed a curtain-raiser event in Jaipur.
The event, accompanied by an orientation workshop, witnessed the participation of representatives from startups and farmer producer organisations (FPOs), as well as progressive farmers, who deliberated on emerging opportunities and partnerships in the agricultural sector. Measures to create new resources for farmers and strengthen the State’s agritech ecosystem were also discussed.
The GRAM-2026 is scheduled to be held in Jaipur from May 23 to 25. Mr. Sharma stated that the three-day meeting would bring together farmers, scientists, investors, and policymakers, facilitating meaningful dialogue to enable agriculturists to benefit from global expertise, modern technologies, and advanced agricultural practices.
Mr. Sharma announced the deployment of ‘raths’ (chariots) at all village panchayats from April 15 to disseminate information about GRAM-2026 and publicise the schemes for farmers’ welfare. The chariots will have suggestion boxes to gather direct feedback from farmers to make agriculture future-ready and self-reliant.
