Residents reportedly found the body of a unidentified male person in a toilet at Kanaka Durga Nagar, in One Town, Vijayawada, on Thursday.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot, broke open the door of the toilet and shifted the decomposed body to the Government Hospital mortuary. The cause of death is yet to be determined, the police said.
Police suspect that the victim might have died two days ago. A case has been registered and investigation is on, said One Town Circle Inspector, B. Gunaram.
