Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi on Thursday said that the Indian Navy are monitoring the ongoing conflict in West Asia on a 24x7 basis.
Speaking at the inaugural day of the tri-service seminar, Ran Samwad, which is being held in Bengaluru, Admiral Tripathi said that it is too early to comment on the lessons learnt from the conflict, however the navy is monitoring what is happening.
Too early
“We are monitoring like a hawk what is happening, what is working, what is not working, what we can imbibe from, what is to be done and more importantly what is not to be done. So that part is being collated. But to say that we have learned certain lessons is too early because the war is still going on and the kinetic actions have not stopped notwithstanding what tweets have gone out,” he said.
Admiral Tripathi said that the Indian Navy was also monitoring the positioning of the U.S. Carrier battle group and also the two amphibious ready groups which the U.S. Navy had deployed during the ongoing West Asia conflict.
