An Israeli airstrike early on Monday (April 6, 2026) struck a residential building in a city southwest of Iran's capital, Tehran, killing at least 13 people, Iranian media reported.

The semiofficial Fars news agency and Nour News reported the strike near Eslamshar.

Later, Israel’s army said on Monday (April 6) it had completed a wave of strikes against “regime targets” in Tehran.

“A short while ago the IDF completed a wave of strikes on Iranian regime targets in Tehran,” the Israeli military posted on Telegram.
