LE MONDE'S SELECTION

Every spring, new cultural events bloom across the capital. Design is no exception. Following in the footsteps of the PAD Paris, a major design fair for collectors and interior designers, which brings together 77 exhibitors presenting exceptional pieces at the Jardin des Tuileries from April 8 to 12, a bouquet of exhibitions is taking place in galleries throughout the city. All one has to do is step through the door to discover hidden gems or catch the spirit of the times. Here's a look at some of the highlights.

Founded in 1998 as the "first design fair in the world," PAD (Pavillon des Arts et du Design) is returning this spring under a tent set up in Paris's Jardin des Tuileries. For the 2026 edition, 77 participants have answered the call, with, for the first time, up to eight galleries dedicated exclusively to jewelry. The event's loyal regulars once again include Parisian dealers such as Carpenters Workshop, Downtown de François Laffanour and Jousse Entreprise, whose discoveries in historical or contemporary design delight collectors.
