April 1 (UPI) -- Megan Thee Stallion was hospitalized Tuesday evening after falling ill mid-show.
The Grammy-winning singer and rapper, 31, was forced to leave partway through her performance in the Broadway show Moulin Rouge! The Musical. She plays Harold Zidler in the production.
"During Tuesday night's production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated," her rep said in a statement. "We will share additional updates as more information becomes available."
Megan Thee Stallion's hairstylist asked for prayers on X, writing, "Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital."
