A carpenter died after he fell down from the terrace of an apartment building in Chennai’s West Mambalam on Saturday (March 28, 2026) night.
City police said G. Sabari, a resident of Bengaluru, was a carpenter who was engaged in work in an apartment located at Baroda Main Street of West Mambalam from Monday (March 23, 2026) with his coworkers. Surya, who resides on the first floor of the apartment, returned after watching a movie and was shocked to find Sabari on the ground unconscious.
He alerted the police control room based on which a police team from Ashok Nagar station arrived and found Sabari . During investigation, police found that Sabari, who was suffering from seizures, was undergoing treatment, and must have fallen from the terrace due to a seizure.
