Visakhapatnam International Airport will implement its summer flight schedule from March 29 to October 24, 2026, featuring 33 daily flight operations. This marks a strategic capacity increase of about 10% to 15% compared to the recently concluded winter schedule. IndiGo continues to be the dominant carrier, accounting for around 21 of the 33 daily movements.
A key highlight of the new schedule is the introduction of a crucial Middle East connection. IndiGo flight services 6E1443 and 6E1444 will operate between Visakhapatnam and Abu Dhabi on a 1-3-5-7 frequency, covering Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with arrival at 08.20 and departure at 09.50. Enhancing international connectivity further, Scoot flights TR784 and TR785 will link Visakhapatnam with Singapore four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Domestic operations have been scaled up by major carriers such as IndiGo, Air India Express and Akasa Air. Connectivity to the Navi Mumbai International Airport, which commenced commercial operations in late 2025, has been strengthened with six weekly services, providing an important link to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Hyderabad continues to be the most connected destination with 61 weekly flights, followed by Delhi with 28 and Bengaluru with 27.
