Domestic carrier IndiGo on Friday announced that all its flights to and from Visakhapatnam will operate from the new Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport starting August 17, 2026.The new airport is located around 48 km from Visakhapatnam city centre, with the journey expected to take approximately 70-100 minutes depending on traffic conditions.The airline has advised passengers to factor in the additional travel time and plan their commute accordingly.
