"Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Mikayla Matthews is speaking out amid a media maelstrom surrounding castmate Taylor Frankie Paul.
Matthews confirmed reports that the Hulu show was on pause amid a police investigation into Paul and her ex-partner, Dakota Mortenson. The Draper City Police Department in Northern Utah confirmed to People that there is an ongoing "domestic assault investigation" involving Paul and Mortensen, who have both reportedly leveled allegations. The two share one son, Ever.
The news broke one week before a new season of "The Bachelorette," starring Paul, is set to air on ABC.
